Mnemba Dolphin & Snorkeling

Mnemba Island is accessible by boat, primarily from Nungwi. The snorkeling location is about a twenty-minute boat ride from the shore. Mnemba Island is a privately owned island, but the surrounding marine reserve offers snorkelers the chance to see some of the best species the Indian Ocean has to offer.

The marine reserve is notable for its shallow waters, which are home to lionfish, moray eels, stingrays, and turtles.
